Cycling across the Strabrechtse Heide

The Strabrechtse Heide is one of the most beautiful heaths in North Brabant. You will experience plenty of silence here. In between you go to Heeze. Here you can get off at Tapperij De Zwaan for a coffee with something delicious, before you drive to Heeze Castle. This moated castle is located in a beautiful spot and is a real photo opportunity. You then cycle across the Strabrechtse Heide again. You pass the Hoenderboom, where the borders of five surrounding municipalities once came together. Nearby you can see the Grafven, it is said that a number of women were murdered here at the end of the sixteenth century on charges of witchcraft. In Lierop you will pass the striking Holy Name Jesus Church from 1892, the route ends at the wooded edge of Mierlo.
