Description

The first part of your route you walk right through the historic center of Naaldwijk. You will pass the Wilhelminaplein where the ancient Town Hall is located. You will also pass the fifteenth-century Oude Kerk. Nearby you will discover the Heilige Geesthofje, from 1630. The chapel probably dates from the same time. Further on you walk a bit past the greenhouses that are so characteristic of the Westland. Suddenly you are in Wollebrand, a water-rich nature reserve. You walk further through the park-like environment, back into the greenhouse area. Just before the end of the route you will see two more monuments at the roundabout: a striking water tower from 1930 and a former gas holder from 1927.
