This cycle route takes you past no fewer than nine villages, each with its own unique appearance, and introduces you to the peninsula and region of Zuid-Beveland. On the edge of Heinkenszand lies the nature reserve'Landgoed Landlust\\\'. The coach house of Huis Landlust is now home to the Het Zeeuwse Landschap Foundation. The Gothic church of's Gravenpolder dates from the 14th century. Along the Westerschelde you cycle via Hoedekenskerke and Kwadendamme to Baarland. In the middle of Baarland, behind the church, lies the former Baarland Castle, of which only the moat, wall and coach house have been preserved. Nisse is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Zuid-Beveland and is dominated by the characteristic 14th century church tower. In the church you can see frescoes and old gravestones. Stop off nearby at Schaapskooi Zeeland!
