Tour of Gulpen and Valkenburg

Your route starts at De Zoete Zoen. Cycling through Limburg means cycling over hills, past peaks and valleys, from one significant historical site to the next location that seems even more important. This bike tour leads around the rolling landscape of the Sint Jansbos. To the northwest, this hillside forest merges into the Biebosch. The well-known tourist attraction Valkenburg lies to the north of the forest, and Gulpen to the south. Lovely spots that you will certainly want to visit, of course! You will pass many small church villages, where you get a good feel for the Limburg countryside. Between rural Schin op Geul and touristy Valkenburg, you will discover Oost Castle and the Oud Valkenburg Castle Gardens. Beautiful locations to dismount and soak up the atmosphere.
