Haarlemmermeer, North Holland, The Netherlands
Cycling route: 115224

From here you take a beautiful trip to the Amsterdamse Bos, which was used as a natural park landscape and recreational area for city residents in the 1930s. You cycle straight through the Amsterdamse Bos to the Zwarte Ruiter mill from 1778. The route also leads to the fort at Kudelstaart and the fort at Aalsmeer, two forts that have been well preserved in their original surroundings and are part of the Defense Line of Amsterdam. Octagonal tower mill De Dikkert is relatively young: it was transferred from the Zaan region in 1896 and now houses a restaurant. Via the Amstelveen Johanneskapel from 1928 you cycle to the Amsterdamseweg EMA. Here you can take a ride in an old tram!
