Description

This route takes you along the Kraaijenbergse Plassen. They were created around 1968 by the extraction of industrial sand, gravel and clay. First you drive to the village of Beers. Here you see the St. Lambertus Church, a neo-Gothic cross basilica from 1891. Further on you cycle on a quiet road along the lakes. You can completely relax while looking out over the banks and the water. You pass through Linden, a charming village that is almost entirely surrounded by the Kraaijenbergse Plassen: special! You drive along the Maas bank to the historic heart of Cuijk. Here you will see, among other things, the beautiful St. Martin's Church from 1913. Museum Ceuclum is located in the detached fifteenth-century tower of the original church. Just outside the village you get off at Van Der Valk Hotel Cuijk - Nijmegen.
