Description
You will take a wonderfully varied route around the Slotermeer. First you will pass't Lam, a seventeenth-century corn mill. In the Frisian polder you will find vast grasslands, waterways and plenty of peace. On the banks of the Slotermeer you have a beautiful view over the water. Along the river De Luts you will cycle through the centre of Balk with its characteristic Frisian atmosphere. Further on you will experience the other side of Friesland when you cycle through the Bremerwildernis, one of the forests in the Gaasterland. This nature reserve owes its name to the broom that once grew here in abundance.
