All about coffee, tea and images

There are numerous rest points along this rural route, one at a coffee farm, the next at a tea garden and another at a sculpture garden. We also pass the De Engel mill on the way. The interesting weather station along the route is also included. The route can be shortened halfway. Coffee farm Groot Nibbelink The history of the farm dates back to the year 1279. It is no longer an active farm but is now used as a stopping place with a playground. There is a nature adventure trail on the site, a walking path of approximately 1 km. A fun walk with play elements for children up to about 12 years old. There is a willow tunnel, a long jump pit, a tree trunk path to the frog pond, with water pump. And there is a tree telephone at the edge of the meadow. Tea garden At Rensink tea garden there is coffee or tea with cakes from their own kitchen. The garden itself is 1600 m2 and landscaped with various garden rooms, including a forest garden with a collection of 350 different hostas. Furthermore, in the garden there is a wide variety of perennials, bulbous plants, shrubs and trees. There are several terraces in the garden, one of which is covered. Sculpture garden Sculpture garden Westerveld was designed by an architect. The garden is recognizable by the various seating areas and metal art objects made by Wim Westerveld, under the name Emotioneel Metaal. Annelies makes flower arrangements for the tables in the garden and bakes walnut cake or gingerbread for coffee or tea. Weather station Lichtenberg weather station is a rural station. An electronic weather station, a Davis Vantage Pro, is used. In addition, there are calibrated thermometers and a Hellman rain gauge. Since its establishment in 1999, many weather farmers from the region have been using the measurements and observations of this weather station for their daily weather talk.
