Water is the main theme of this bike tour. You take a beautiful tour around the various meadows and you visit the iconic Giethoorn. The starting point of this route is Cafe Restaurant Wapen van Utrecht, which is located in a watery nature reserve. The perfect environment for cycling! At Sint-Jansklooster it is advisable to visit the Wieden visitor center. You will learn a lot about the beautiful nature reserve and you can take a boat trip through the various meadows. During this route you will get to know the Wieden. It used to be a dug up Fen area. Now it is a lake and swamp area. The Wieden, together with the Weerribben, forms the Weerribben-Wieden nature park.
