The most beautiful villages of Southeast Brabant

Vessem is a quiet village around a large rectangular lawn. You will find ancient buildings such as the old town hall,'De Leeuw\\\' and the Sint-Lambertus Church. You drive through the Molenheide nature reserve in the direction of the farming village of Wintelre. In Oerle you will find Eetcafé De Kers, where you can eat something delicious with a view of the heart of Oerle with the neo-Gothic De Sint Jan de Doperkerk from 1912. Then you cycle to the village of Duizel, one of the eight villages that belong to the Beatitudes of the Kempen. The Eight Beatitudes are said to owe their nickname to the Dutch soldiers who were billeted here during the Belgian Revolution around 1830 and found the region poor.
