Tour of Groot(s) Doetinchem

Your cycling route starts at Herberg Het Onland. As early as 838, Doetinchem was mentioned as Duetinghem, a settlement with a church. The largest city in the Achterhoek is located in very beautiful surroundings. After you leave the city on the northwest side, you drive directly into the Kruisberg forests. The forest is characterized by the many height differences. The highest point is 30 meters above sea level. You will find the Wittebrinksemolen halfway between Hummelo and Zelhem. In 2006, extensive repairs were made to the escape, a new head was cast on the left joint wood and new crawling poles were installed. You cycle sideways past the old village of Zelhem. Salehem was mentioned for the first time in a document from the year 901. Back you cycle through the woods of't Zand.
