Tour of the Mosbeek Valley and Ootmarsum

Your route starts at Camping Dal Van De Mosbeek & Theeschenkerij De Manderie. You cycle north, where you cycle past the Molen van Frans and a burial mound. Burial mounds, heathlands, stream valleys, ash trees, mountains, water mills, old farms: you will see the entire sample of the old Twente landscape along the way. You cycle through Het Dal van de Mosbeek, which is carefully cherished as a nature reserve. Here you will find a wealth of plants and protected animal species such as the flying stag, crested newt and the small mud creeper. The picturesque centre of Ootmarsum has a protected village view, you will see many beautiful monumental buildings. Stop for a drink on a terrace! On the way back you cycle through the Springendal, a picturesque nature reserve that is also called the 'Garden of the Netherlands'.
