The Pearl of the Veluwe

Where else but on the Veluwe can you enjoy nature without a care in the world? This cycle route takes you through the area between Ermelo, Elspeet and Garderen. For example, you cycle through the Leuvenumse Bos. Around junction 84 you cycle a bit through the Leuvenum Estate. Every now and then the dense forests here make way for flowery grasslands. The Staverden Estate was built centuries ago with the intention of founding a city there. This did not work out. However, there are still some beautiful old buildings. Just past junction 60 you can get off and walk a bit onto the Houtdorperveld. On the edge of Garderen you can take a break at De Beeldentuin/Zandsculpturen. After a delicious lunch you cycle through the Sprielderbos, after which you take a look at the Ermelose Heide.
