Around Winterswijk you cycle on car-free roads through a beautiful coulisse landscape. You regularly pass a characteristic Saxon farm. It is so beautiful here that it almost seems as if the area was specially designed for cyclists. In the former textile city of Winterswijk you see several beautiful villas. In the Vrijheidspark you see the Jacobuskerk from 1869. There is also an erratic boulder from the ice age here, it is the second largest found in the Netherlands. Around junction 6 you cycle through an extension of the Korenburgerveen nature reserve, after which you head towards Germany. It is wonderfully quiet in the border area, ideal to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a while. Finally, you make a crossing through the German town of Oeding. The route ends at Vakantiepark Hofparken Wiltershaar.
