Cycling through the Schoorlse Dunes

You start this route in Groet at Restaurant De Bokkesprong with Hans and Stacey. The restaurant is located in an authentic farmhouse that has been completely renovated. You can come here for a nice lunch, dinner or a cup of coffee. From here you can explore the Schoorlse Duinen. The extensive dune area of Schoorl is among the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Nowhere are the dunes wider or higher! The sand in the Schoorlse Duinen is very low in limestone and therefore heather can grow. In some places the sand may drift. New dunes and potholes arise spontaneously. The dune 'walks', as it were. Before you know it you are back at the end point, but first you will pass two Dutch windmills: the Damlandermolen and the Bosmolen.
