Cycling through the Schoorl Dunes

You start this route in Groet at Restaurant De Bokkesprong with Hans and Stacey. The restaurant is located in an authentic farmhouse that has been completely renovated. You can go here for a delicious lunch, dinner or a cup of coffee. From here you will explore the Schoorlse Duinen. The extensive dune area of Schoorl is one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Nowhere are the dunes wider or higher! The sand in the Schoorlse Duinen is very low in lime and therefore heather can grow there. In some places the sand is allowed to drift. New dunes and holes spontaneously appear. The dune'walks\\\', as it were. Before you know it you are back at the end point, but first you will pass two Dutch windmills: the Damlandermolen and the Bosmolen.
