Northeast Veluwe: Epe, Heerde

This cycling route takes you through the beautiful area of the Northeast Veluwe. This area has long been an area with lots of natural beauty, cycle paths and conviviality. While cycling in the Veluwe Massif between the villages of Epe and Heerde, you can enjoy beautiful forests, heathlands, landscapes and many sights in style. Epe has traditionally been a tourist town on the edge of the Veluwe. In addition, Epe has traditionally been a real Gelderland village adjacent to the IJsselvallei. It has been in the possession of the noble Van Dedem family for more than three hundred years and it is a house that has hardly changed in recent centuries. The IJssel is one of the most beautiful rivers in the Netherlands with a panoramic view of the floodplains and the farms located on the dike.
