Hanseatic city of Kampen
Kampen is a beautiful old Hanseatic city on the IJssel River. You'll pass through the part of the city that is a protected cityscape. And for good reason. Here you'll see the magnificent Cellebroederspoort gate, originally dating from 1465. Along the Burgwal, you'll see several monumental buildings. The Broederkerk is a hall church from the fourteenth century. Further on lies the Botermarkt, a medieval trading square.

Across the IJssel River, you'll pass through Wilsum. Here you can admire the St. Lambertus Church, dating back to 1050, one of the oldest churches in Gelderland. In Zalk, you'll pass De Valk, a grain mill dating back to 1860. You can also take a refreshing break on the pleasant terrace of Restaurant De Oase.
