Discover the surroundings of Boekel

Your route starts with a cup of coffee at KOKS Indoor & Outdoor Enjoying. In the picturesque green surroundings of Boekel you can enjoy real Brabant conviviality. You will also pass through the Goorse Bossen, a small-scale nature reserve. In Boekel itself there are some beautiful historic buildings, such as the Molen Boekel: a flour mill from 1785. You can make a pit stop in this village at the La Compagnie café. You then make a loop that takes you through the village of Handel and the surrounding forests. Here you pass the Neije Kreiter, a flour mill from 1988. Its predecessor survived a fire in 1935, but was destroyed by flames in 1983. You drive through a series of fields and grasslands. Every now and then you see a beautiful old long-gable farmhouse.
