You'll also pass through the Goorse Bossen, a small-scale nature reserve. Boekel itself boasts several beautiful historic buildings, such as Molen Boekel, a grain mill dating back to 1785. You can make a pit stop in the village at La Compagnie eatery. Then, you'll make a loop that takes you through the village of Handel and the surrounding forests. Here you'll pass the Neije Kreiter, a grain mill dating back to 1988. Its predecessor survived a fire in 1935 but was destroyed by flames in 1983. You'll cycle through a series of fields and meadows.
