De Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park consists of the Loonse en Drunense Duinen, De Brand and some other smaller areas. The drifting sand in this park still has free rein, such drifting sand on such a large scale is no longer found anywhere in Europe. You also cycle through fresh-smelling forests with conifers and along streams and swamps. Plenty of natural beauty that you can admire at your leisure from quiet paths. You suddenly find Giersbergen in the middle of the national park. A hamlet whose history dates back to the Middle Ages. Here you will see some beautiful old thatched long-gable farmhouses. In Udenhout you pass De Strijdhoeve Castle, a mansion from around 1760.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
