The drops represent extra beautiful points, such as the memorials of the Death Wire from WWI between FKP 18 and 22, but also near the campsite, in the direction of FKP 15 you will find such a place, but the stones with the names of the Eight Beatitudes. At FKP 15 you can also find the large circle, which was a clear landmark from the air for pilots on their way to Germany during WWII. A crew of such an aircraft can be found on a monument in the bend between FKP 18 and 17 at the number 5.25 km, just across the border. The Doodendraad border route can also be found in 14 laps on Route.nl under the name Doodendraad 14 - 18.
