Walking route highlights of Ouddorp

Your walking route starts at Holiday Park De Klepperstee, beautifully situated in the green. Ouddorp is a characteristic Zeeland village. In recreation area De Punt 15 bunkers have been excavated. A bunker walking route of 1 km has been set out along information panels that tell what the bunkers were used for. Around junctions 15 and 17 you look out over the bird-rich Westhoofdvallei. Many special plants, such as orchids, grow in this damp dune valley. To keep the area open, a herd of cows graze there. In the distance you can see the Westhoofd Lighthouse from 1950. It is still active and gives 3 flashes every 15 seconds.
