Walking route highlights of Ouddorp

Your walking route starts at Holiday Park De Klepperstee, beautifully situated in the green. Ouddorp is a characteristic Zeeland village. 15 bunkers have been excavated in the De Punt recreation area. A bunker walking route of 1 km has been set out along information panels that tell what the bunkers were for. Around junctions 15 and 17 you have a view of the bird-rich Westhoofd valley. Many special plants, such as orchids, grow in this humid dune valley. To keep the area open, a herd of cows grazes there. In the distance you can see the Lighthouse Westhoofd from 1950. It is still active and gives 3 flashes every 15 seconds.
