Walking through the Oude Warande

Full of good courage and energy you can go on the road! Walk through the woods, breathe in the fresh air and relax completely. The forest you walk through is the Oude Warande south of the railway line. What is special about this forest is that it is one of the few intact star forests in the Netherlands. A forest of stars is so called because a number of avenues, usually six or eight, run from a central point to the corners and outer edges.
