Cycling around the Kraaijenbergse Plassen

The rich nature makes the Kraaijenbergse Plassen a perfect place for a bike ride. The starting point of the route is Buitenplaats Zevenhutten, which is located in the middle of the Zevenhutten nature reserve. The area consists of forests, grasslands, fields and hedgerows: a wonderful environment to cycle through. During the route you cycle around the Kraaijenbergse Plassen: the result of almost 50 years of digging for sand, gravel and clay. Most of the lakes have been converted for recreation over time after the excavations. Others form a unique piece of nature. Feel free to dismount along the way to enjoy the view. The focus at the lake is on nature, flora and fauna. When you return, you can end your cycle route with a snack and a drink at Buitenplaats Zevenhutten.
