Walking around Zwaag

Put on your walking shoes and explore the cozy village of Zwaag. As a village, Zwaag has grown into the city of Hoorn. This ensures that the village character is supplemented with urban pleasures, an ideal combination. You walk through Zwaag and Hoorn, a wonderful route of 7.5 kilometers. You feel the history of the VOC period. Hoorn was one of the cities represented in the Dutch East India Company. Great men such as Governor-General Jan Pieterszoon Coen and the seafarers Willem IJsbrandszoon Bontekoe and Willem Corneliszoon Schouten came from here.
