Tour of Goedereede and Oostvoorne from Rockanje

Your route starts at Paviljoen Zomerzoen. From here you cycle through a unique dune area: Voornes Duin. Take a look at the Tenellaplas. This lake was dug in 1949 as a nature restoration project with a visitor center and botanical garden. Then you drive along the Oostvoornse Meer, a deep and clear water, half fresh and half salt. Via the small hamlet of Tinte you find your way to the Haringvlietdam, where you drive onto Goeree-Overflakkee. Another former island, just like Voorne-Putten! Then you cycle through Goedereede. At the Port, time seems to have stood still a bit, you can see many monumental houses from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The church tower dates from 1512, until 1912 it was also used as a lighthouse. The large village church dates from 1708.
