Tour of the Hoge Veluwe National Park

Camping de Marshoeve is located on the edge of Loenen. From here you start this cycling route across the beautiful Veluwe. Start your day well with fresh coffee and a cake before you get on your bike. You leave Loenen in a southerly direction. You cycle through a wooded area near Deelen Air Base. Get off your bike here for a visit to the Deelen Air Base Museum of the same name. During the Second World War this was the largest German airfield in the Netherlands. The tour then leads straight across the Hoge Veluwe National Park. This nature reserve, largely formed by ice and water, is the green treasure trove of the Netherlands. On your way back you cycle through Otterlo and Hoenderloo. After more than fifty kilometers you arrive back at the campsite. Time for real farmhouse ice cream!
