Bicycle route Trip Around the Dollard

Moin and hello! The approximately 300-kilometre long German-Dutch bike ride on the International Dollard Route takes you through a vast polder landscape, which is intersected by canals and waterways that are of vital importance to the inhabitants. They also form an ideal environment for the special flora and fauna.
This is stage 3; part of this route with start and finish in Delfzijl.
Since 2010, the passenger ship'Dollard\\\' has been a central part of our cross-border cycle route and maintains a ferry connection across the estuary Dollard.
From Ditzum the ship first sets course for the port of Emden and from there continues to the port of Delfzijl. Our ferry connection is a comfortable way to cross the border and the estuary by bicycle.
