Round Schier

Dune valleys, special plants, dynamic dunes and almost no cars. Varied scenery is guaranteed on this bike ride; Round Schier.
You can start at the tourist office in the village or at the bicycle rental, past the characteristic island houses and the cozy terraces in the center it goes along the Westerplas with the bird hide to the Lighthouse. The cycle path takes you along the beaches, through the dunes past various beach entrances and a beach pavilion. Then the route leads past the Kobbeduinen and Willemsduin to the polder.
Along the way, much of the rich history of this island is still visible, such as the dernkelingen cemetery,
the bunker museum next to the contemporary recreation places.
