Description
Midsland is a small cozy village with a lot of history. During this walk you walk through the beautiful polders of Terschelling. The"sand outcrops\\\" are in fact the oldest dunes on Terschelling.
The Beaches of Terschelling are getting bigger and bigger. Around 1980 there was an area with new dunes on the beach near 5-6 (3km to the west). Due to the action of the sea and wind, this dune landscape had moved around 2000. But they have now disappeared again. Near the Duinweg you have a dune meadow that is called the Geitenpark on Terschelling. Many Terschelling families used to keep goats for milk and meat.
