Description
On this route, explore the Tweemanspolder near Bleiswijk and Zevenhuizen and walk along the Rottemeren lakes. From here, you'll walk towards Moerkapelle, where you'll pass the De Hertog windmill. Then it's time to explore the Tweemanspolder, which is largely used for arable farming. There's also a four-lane windmill here. You'll pass Tweemanspolder no. 3, built in 1792. Via the Rottemeren lakes, you'll walk back towards Bleiswijk. Birds also thrive in the Rottemeren lakes. The song of reed birds can be heard more and more frequently in the flooded willow groves and on the small islands.
