Through the woods around Helden

Along the way you walk through forests and along stream valleys, Meuse banks and shifting dunes. Soon after departure you walk into the Heldense Bossen. This special piece of nature was originally a wild, reclaimed area, where the sheep of Helden and Kessel grazed. Nature Park National Park De Maasduinen transformed this area into a special hilly landscape with many walking and cycling routes. You walk back to De Belaeving via the Gruise Epper nature reserve. End your day here with a drink and snack on the terrace, while enjoying the view over the vines.
