Tour of Wijkerzand

From Bed and Breakfast Oan d\\\'n Kikkerdijk you set off. You first walk on the Maasdijk. You can see some beautiful centuries-old farms here. Then you walk to the Maas and cross the water with a ferry: always fun! On the other side you walk through the Brabant village of Veen. Here you will also see some characteristic farms on the dike. At junction 36 you walk into Wijkerzand. This nature reserve is sandwiched between Wijk & Aalburg and the Dammed Maas. What immediately stands out here: the tranquility! You walk along an old creek, past meadows and along the rippling water. You can spot many birds here. You walk back over the dike to the ferry. You can continue to enjoy your holiday at the comfortable B&B.
