Tour Wijkerzand

You set off from Bed and Breakfast Oan d\\\'n Kikkerdijk. You first walk across the Maasdijk. You will see some beautiful centuries-old farms here. Then you walk to the Maas and cross the water on a ferry: always fun! On the other side you walk through the Brabant village of Veen. Here too you will see some characteristic farms on the dike. At junction 36 you walk into Wijkerzand. This nature reserve is wedged between Wijk & Aalburg and the Afgedamde Maas. What immediately stands out here: the peace and quiet! You walk along an old creek, past meadows and along the babbling water. You can spot many birds here. You walk back over the dike to the ferry. You can continue to enjoy your holiday at the comfortable B&B.
