Tour of Renesse and Nieuw-Haamstede

Schouwen-Duiveland is particularly popular among cyclists and walkers, and that is not surprising. The variety of dunes and forests make this area wonderful to explore. You start in Renesse at the parking lot. Walk through the forest and enjoy the peace around you. Halfway you can take a break at Strandpaviljoen de Strandloper. Order a cup of coffee here with something tasty and then you can get back to it. The last part of the route you walk through the beautiful dune area with sand drifts, valleys and dune meadows. Beautiful views over the water alternate with the flat, vast interior and characteristic villages. You make your way through the dunes and look out over the sea.
