Description
Schouwen-Duiveland is particularly popular with cyclists and hikers, and that is not surprising. The alternation of dunes and forests makes this area wonderful to explore. You start in Renesse at the parking lot. Walk through the forest and enjoy the peace and quiet around you. Halfway you can take a break at Beach Pavilion de Strandloper. Order a cup of coffee with something tasty here and you will be ready to go again. The last part of the route takes you through the beautiful dune area with sand drifts, valleys and dune meadows. Beautiful views over the water alternate with the flat, wide interior and characteristic villages. You make your way through the dunes and look out over the sea.
