Walking from Renesse to Nieuw-Haamstede

Schouwen-Duiveland is wonderful to explore on foot. Here you can take the most beautiful walks through the dunes, through the forest and on the beach. This route takes you along the beautiful nature of the island. With this walk you can stretch your legs and get a breath of fresh air on the coast. Put on your walking shoes and explore the area. Halfway you can take a break at Beach Pavilion De Strandloper in Nieuw-Haamstede on the 'kop van schouwen', a stone's throw from the lighthouse. Enjoy the beautiful view of the beach and replenish your energy level with a snack and a drink. Then you walk through the woods back to the pleasant, bustling Renesse where you can end the day with a drink in the village.
