Cycling on Schouwen-Duiveland

Cycling on Schouwen-Duiveland is wonderful. Cycle through beautiful nature reserves and picturesque villages. The water is always close by. You start at Serooskerke and from here you cycle to Renesse. In between you cycle through the woods of Westenschouwen. The first rest point of the route is Strandpaviljoen de Strandloper in Nieuw-Haamstede, a stone's throw from the lighthouse. Enjoy a delicious sandwich, so that you can continue the tour with all the energy you need. You cycle through the small but cozy village of Burgh-Haamstede to the always pleasant Westenschouwen. At Beach Pavilion De Buurman you can take a break and enjoy the beautiful, panoramic view of the beach. You cycle back to Serooskerke via Burghsluis and the Plompetoren Lookout Tower.
