Explore the cozy courtyards of Alkmaar, cycle along the old canals and discover the narrow streets. Explore the area and enjoy the magnificent view of the North Sea that the Schoorlse Duinen offers you when you have found your way through Boswachterij Schoorl. Enjoy a breath of fresh air on your bike in the high dunes and in the ancient forests of Schoorl. You start at Restaurant De Bokkesprong with Hans and Stacey in Groet, a farm a stone's throw from the beach. Enjoy a delicious lunch or a cup of coffee here before getting on your bike and exploring the rest of the area. Along the way you will come across beautiful mills - it doesn't get more Dutch than this - including four ironing mills that are located together in Alkmaar. A beautiful sight!
