Harzer Hexenstieg
The name betrays the fairytale theme of this beautiful almost 100 km long walking route. The route takes you from Osterrode through the Harz National Park to the town of Thale. Of course it is also possible to walk the route the other way around. Along the way, the legendary Brocken mountain is a particular highlight. From here you can look out over central Germany for miles.
The fairytale, mysterious world of the Harz is ideal for children of all ages. A walk on the Hexenstieg is anything but boring. But not only fairy tales are reviewed here; along the way you will learn everything about nature, geology, history and culture. The route is therefore recommended for everyone.
