Brabantse Peel: walking through Westerbeek

The route takes you through the area around Westerbeek, a mining village that continued to expand from the mid-nineteenth century. The monumental village church dates from 1922. It is then wonderful to walk in the countryside. Ideal to recharge the battery, because it is still old-fashioned quiet in this region. Thanks to the walking route network, you don't have to worry about losing your way. The route runs in a figure of eight, so in between you can enjoy a terrace at the nice café where your route started this morning.
