Bike tour in Northern Odenwald - RMV-Radtour 7b

Varied cycling tour in the north of Odenwald. The first half is an easy ascent, the second half you can comfortably enjoy the idyllic Mümlingtal.

From the train station in Bad König, a cycle path on the left leads you easily to the center of town. From the outside, you must visit the old and the new castle. After leaving the town, the route first leads through an open field and a little later through a small forest area in which the route reaches its highest point.

Now you drive to Breitenbrunn. After a short climb, the route descends to Lützel-Wiebelsbach. Via Mühlhausen and Rai-Breitenbach you eventually reach the Mümlingtal. From here the cycle path is identical to the Three-Country Route. After the Mümling with its water meadows you reach Breuberg-Neustadt. The RMV routes 7a and 7b now run together as Route 7 to Mümling-Grumbach.

After the railway line, the route leads to Etzen-Gesäß, where a beautiful view of the river landscape of the nature reserve on the Mümling awaits. After another two kilometres, the starting point of Bad König is reached again.
