At this abbreviation of the Tower Route you will come to 2 lookout towers, namely SAS4 - tower (at junction 73) in Dessel and when you walk a short distance you will reach the"Reus van Bosland; the Sahara lookout tower of Lommel (at junction 546).
But you can also visit Quartz Experience in Mol (knp 260), the interactive museum where you can learn about the applications of quartz sand, the production process and the redesign of the quarry in a fascinating way through various test setups.
In the months of July and August every Tuesday and Thursday from 12 noon to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Other months only after reservation: VISITMOL.BE
