Tour of Zaandam, Volendam and Amsterdam

From Zaanstad, you'll embark on a route steeped in cultural history and natural beauty. First, you'll pass through the Zaanse Schans. Here, you can take a break at Restaurant De Kraai. Continue north along the Zaan River. The path then leads you for a considerable distance past the Wormerveld and Jisperveld, offering beautiful views of the old fenland. Further on, you'll pass through Purmerend, after which you'll cycle along the water to Edam. Feel free to stop here to soak up the historic atmosphere. A little later, you'll arrive at the harbor of Volendam, originally founded by the town of Edam. Via Monnickendam to the center of Amsterdam, you'll cycle a loop around the Spui and Nieuwmarkt, before returning to Zaandam.
