Tour Zaandam, Volendam and Amsterdam

From Zaanstad you can take a route full of cultural history and natural beauty. First you pass through the Zaanse Schans. You drive north along the Zaan. The path then leads you a long way along the Wormer and Jisperveld. Here you have a beautiful view over the old low peat area. Further on you pass through Purmerend, after which you cycle along the water to Edam. Feel free to get off here to enjoy the historic atmosphere. A little later you arrive in the port of Volendam, which was originally founded by the town of Edam. Enjoy a delicious meal at Hotel Café Restaurant van den Hogen, after which you cycle to Monnickendam. In the center of Amsterdam you take a tour of the Spui and the Nieuwmarkt, after which you drive back to Zaandam.
