The walk starts at the historic market of the romantic half-timbered town of Königsberg, where the birthplace of the famous astronomer Regiomontanus can be admired. After the old town, you climb to the castle ruins of Schloßberg (approximately 70 meters in altitude), where you have a beautiful view of Königsberg, the Main valley and as far as the Rhön. The road then continues along the Grensweg along old striking boundary stones, which, after the time of Napoleon, marked the border between Saxon Königsberg and Bavarian Unfinden between 1807 and 1920. On the Rennweg - an old trade route - it continues to Urwiese up to the Hutberg with the Huthäuschen - a viewpoint with a view of Königsberg, Unfinden, the surrounding villages and the Steigerwald and the Rhön. After a visit via the Weinberg (approximately 70 meters in altitude) to the half-timbered and wine village of Unfinden, catering establishments invite you to relax.
