Description
Wellerlooi is located on the east side of the Meuse. In North Limburgish, it is also known as "de Loi". The village lies in the middle of the Maasduinen National Park. For the first fifteen kilometers, you cycle through forests, heathlands, and dunes, after which you cross the border. With our eastern neighbors, you continue your journey in the direction of Kevelaer. Stretch your legs on the square by the Basilica of St. Mary. This Neo-Gothic basilica was built in 1858 and features breathtaking paintings inside. Via Lullingen and Walbeck, you cycle back to the Netherlands.
