It is the classic among the mountain hikes in Nesselwang: an interesting route for the whole family with many special features. You go a short way up the Stations of the Cross in the direction of Maria Trost. Then you walk on a forest and main path along the 90 meter high waterfall, which you climb with metal steps and bridges. This especially impresses children. Halfway through the climb, the forest thins out, so that you have a beautiful view of the plains of the pre-Alps. The highest point and at the same time the most beautiful view you have at Sportheim Böck. Here you should at least look towards Neuschwanstein Castle, the Forggensee and Zugspitze. It goes downhill on a forest path to the Kappeler Alp, before arriving on a rough path at the pilgrimage church of Maria Trost. The pilgrimage church of Maria Trost invites you to take a contemplative break. Then the descent begins over the Stations of the Cross to Nesselwang.
