Description
Then put on your walking shoes and discover this beautiful village in quiet Noord-Beveland. Kortgene has the beautiful Nicholas Church from 1686. The fifteenth-century tower is the only medieval building that survived the All Saints Flood of 1532 (which flooded the whole of Noord-Beveland). You can get a breath of fresh air on the dike while enjoying beautiful views of the Veerse Meer. You walk back along the edge of the Westpolder (one meter below sea level).
