Description
Then put on your walking shoes and discover this beautiful village in the quiet Noord-Beveland. In Kortgene you will find the beautiful Nicolaaskerk from 1686. The fifteenth-century tower is the only medieval building that survived the All Saints' Flood of 1532 (which flooded the whole of Noord-Beveland). On the dike you can enjoy a breath of fresh air, while enjoying beautiful views over the Veerse Meer. You walk back along the edge of the Westpolder (one meter below sea level).
