Description

During World War II, several aircraft crashed in the area of the current province of Flevoland. Many of these aircraft were found and salvaged during the draining of the polders. The placed marking posts are provided with information plates with a QR code, which refers to the website of Stichting Ongeland. There you will find more information about the plane and the circumstances in which it crashed. The nose of the silhouette points towards the area where the plane crashed.

The route starts from the parking lot at De Verbeelding and first takes you past the Vliegersmonument (unveiling and cycle route starting May 5, 2019).
