Steep valley walls, rolling hills and deeply incised stream valleys. This Devil walking route takes you through the Livierenbos, called Bois de la Louvière in French. The starting point of this route is Everbeek-Boven. With your hair in the wind you walk along the meadows and vast fields of the Flemish landscape. The last part of the route you walk through the Lievierenbos, which is located in the relief-rich landscape of the Flemish Ardennes. Wolves were sighted here until the 17th century. The Lievierenbos still provides shelter for numerous animal species, including the middle spotted woodpecker, the honey buzzard, the buzzard, roe deer and fox. There is quite a climb and descent during this route, but the environment in which you walk makes up for a lot. A true paradise for hikers!
