Description
Are you a fan of wooded routes? Then you have come to the right place at the Werewolf walking route. Discover the hilly surroundings of the Flemish Ardennes. You start the route in Flobecq at junction 6. On the way you enter the Brakelbos and pass the miners' path, a piece of old railway line. A special experience! Then walk towards the Lievierenbos, where you could still find wolves in the 16th and 17th centuries. The area is characterized by spring bloomers. Enjoy the steep valley walls and rolling hills along the way. You end the route with the phenomenal view over the surrounding fields at the Ferme de Géron. This route is ideal for hikers who want to discover the relief-rich area of the Flemish Ardennes.
