Description
Are you a fan of wooded routes? Then the Weerwolf walking route is the right place for you. Discover the hilly surroundings of the Flemish Ardennes. You start the route in Flobecq at junction 6. Along the way you enter the Brakelbos and pass the miners' path, a piece of old railway line. A special experience! Then walk towards the Lievierenbos, where you still encountered wolves in the 16th and 17th centuries. The area is characterised by spring flowers. Enjoy the steep valley walls and rolling hills along the way. You end the route with a phenomenal view over the surrounding fields at the Ferme de Géron. This route is ideal for hikers who want to discover the hilly area of the Flemish Ardennes.
