Gnome Walking route

During this walking route you will explore the relief-rich landscape of the Pays des Collines, with steep valley walls, rolling hills and deeply cut stream valleys. The area through which this route runs is located in the middle of the Flemish Ardennes, a hilly region where you can enjoy walking. The slopes in the Flemish Ardennes are regularly climbed in various cycling races. This sturdy walking route starts in Flobecq at node 6. You walk through the Pottelbergbos, where numerous animal species live, including the middle spotted spectator, the buzzard, deer and fox. The area is also characterized by spring-flowering plants, such as the bluebell. The last part of the route you walk through the varied Bos ter Rijst nature reserve. In the spring, the spring flowers conjure up a colorful carpet.
