Gnome Walking route

During this walking route you will explore the relief-rich landscape of the Pays des Collines, with steep valley walls, rolling hills and deeply cut stream valleys. The area through which this route passes is located in the middle of the Flemish Ardennes, a hilly region where you can enjoy walking. The slopes in the Flemish Ardennes are regularly climbed in various cycling races. This brisk walking route starts in Flobecq at junction 6. You walk through the Pottelberg forest, where numerous animal species live, including the middle motley spect, the buzzard, deer and fox. The area is also characterized by spring bloomers, such as the bluebells. The last part of the route you walk through the varied nature reserve Bos ter Rijst. In the spring, the spring flowers conjure up a colorful carpet.
