Hiking in Ronse, Flanders, Belgium
Hiking route 1056910
Provided by: Toerisme Oost-Vlaanderen
In the Muziekbos in Ronse you can hear the rustling melody of the leaves rustling in the wind. Doesn't that sound like music to your ears? You start this walking route on the edge of the Muziekbos, near the Geuzentoren. This is a medieval-looking round stone tower built in 1864. This tower used to serve as a watchtower. You walk in a south-westerly direction to Mont d\\\'Ellezelles. The country of the witches, that's what this village is sometimes called. You end the route in the Muziekbos. Enjoy the natural beauty of this green oasis. Especially in spring the Muziekbos is worth a visit with flowering wild hyacinths. This route is ideally suited for nature walkers who are not afraid of some slopes on the way.
